Gastronomy
The gastronomy locations of the Kaiserdom Privatbrauerei enliven Bamberg’s restaurant world in many ways. Partly leased, partly managed by the company itself, locals and tourists of all ages are offered a lot of variety, from classic Franconian cuisine to Italian and Turkish and even young craft beer restaurant.
Kaiserdom brewery inn and hotel
The brewery inn is part of the old Kaiserdom brewery buildings in Gaustadter
Hauptstraße and has been extended over time to become a hotel with
conference rooms. In the shady inner courtyard you can enjoy one or two glasses
of beer in pleasant temperatures in summer.
Since 2012, guests have been offered the finest Italian cuisine here.

The restaurant Efendi has been located in the „Kaiserdom Stuben“ since 2010.
It is Bamberg’s first address for Turkish specialities.
In summer outdoor seating is also available to guests.
They invite you to end the day in the shade of old chestnut trees.

Klosterbräu
The Klosterbräu is Bamberg’s oldest brewery and is located in the
„Mühlenviertel“ directly on the Regnitz. The restaurant invites you to its
historical rooms with rustic cosiness, to enjoy the home-brewed beer
and the good Franconian cuisine.

Rathausschänke
A „bridge beer“ from the Rathausschänke invites you to linger on the
Obere Brücke. The medieval house below the „Altes Rathaus“ is located
in the heart of Bamberg’s old town. With a magnificent view of „Klein Venedig“,
you can enjoy your beer or glass of wine directly on the Obere Brücke
and treat yourself to a relaxing break.

Kronprinz
Bamberg’s first craft beer restaurant with its own brewery – in the „Gaustadter Fischerhof“. It combines old craftsmanship with modern influences, old traditions with new passion. The „Fischerhof” is a familiar term for Bambergers. The Art Nouveau house was built in the middle of the 19th and was already a meeting place and restaurant in that time. Today, the modern-cozy ambience invites you to linger with delicious food and home-brewed beer.
