Training at Kaiserdom
According to the Bavarian purity law, only „hops, malt and water“ may be added to the beer. But in order to be able to brew high-quality beer specialities, something else is needed: the knowledge and experience of well-trained brewers. We are committed to the brewing tradition and training young brewers for many years. Many of our former trainees found their way to a master school or university after their apprenticeship years. Today, some of them successfully continue to run their parents’ breweries and thus ensure the traditional variety of beer in and around Bamberg. In addition to brewers and maltsters, we also train in commercial occupations.
