European Beer Star Award<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/span><\/p>\nThe European Beer Star has been organised by the Verband der Privaten Brauereien Bayern <\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>since 2004 and has long since become one of the most important beer competitions in the world. This top-class competition honours genuine, characterful and high-quality beers.
2022 our „Dark Lager“ has won the Gold award and 2020 we got the Bronze Medal for our „Helles“ in the King\u2019s Class Mild Lager<\/p>\n

\n\nWomen\u2019s International Trophy<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/span><\/p>\nThe\u00a0Women\u2019s International Trophy\u00a0is a unique event in Germany, tasted by an\u00a0international jury composed only of women\u00a0at<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0highest<\/span>\u00a0level<\/span>.\u00a0Each sample is blind-tasted by female experts on the basis of sensorial analysis criteria. \n\nTraining at Kaiserdom<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/span><\/p>\nAccording to the Bavarian purity law, only „hops, malt and water“ may be added to the beer. But in order to be able to brew high-quality beer specialities, something else is needed: the knowledge and experience of well-trained brewers. We are committed to the brewing tradition and training young brewers for many years. Many of our former trainees found their way to a master school or university after their apprenticeship years. Today, some of them successfully continue to run their parents\u2019 breweries and thus ensure the traditional variety of beer in and around Bamberg. In addition to brewers and maltsters, we also train in commercial occupations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
