We try to act according to this maxim in the Kaiserdom brewery. The company already has a large number of environmentally friendly machines. At the forefront is our new low-energy brewhouse, which was commissioned in 2019. This enables us to save up to 60 percent of primary energy and 40 percent of water compared to conventional brewhouses. We also have our own wastewater treatment system and a CO2<\/sub> recovery system. This alone reduces our CO2<\/sub> emissions by more than 1,100 t per year.<\/p>\n

Regionality and environmental protection are extremely important to us as a family company. For this reason we also rely on alternative energy sources for electricity and have been sourcing electricity from \u201eStadtwerke Bamberg\u201c –\u00a0 100% of our electricity is from hydropower since 2010. All in all, we can say with pride that we are already among the greenest breweries in the world.<\/p>\n
